Mi fotografía es esencialmente experimental, intuitiva y en gran parte de temática urbana. Esto, lejos de constituir una limitación es un desafío constante a descubrir cada día nuevos misterios y encantos escondidos en lo que a diario me rodea. Ver un mismo lugar con nuevos ojos cada vez que pasas frente a él es algo que me permite redescubirlo en su riqueza temática porque tiene tantas realidades como veces los observas. Como bien dijo el sabio griego, no podrás bañarte dos veces en el mismo río. Pero no sólo porque el río ya no es el mismo cuando vuelves sino también porque tú has cambiado desde entonces. De modo que lo que fotografío no sólo es lo que veo sino también lo que soy, lo que siento y aquello en lo que me voy transformando. Allí reside la magia de caminar y ver, observar, descubrir, maravillarme con cada nuevo detalle que encuentro en las calles y los caminos que recorro a diario, en cada una de las pequeñas o grandes cosas con las que me cruzo, porque es también una forma de descubrirme a mí mismo.
My photography is basically intuitive, experimental and mainly urban. This, far from being a limitation turns into a constat challenge to discover new misteries and enchantments hidden in everyday things around me. Seeing the same place with new eyes every time I walk in front of it allows me to re-discover its beauty and its thematic richness realizing that the world has as many realities as the times I look at it. As the wise Greek said you can't bathe twice in the same river. And this is not only because the river itself has changed when you are back to it, but also because you are not the same person neither... So, what I photograph is not only what I see but also what I am and what I feel. There's magic in walking around and watch, discover, marvelling at every new detail I find in the streets and paths I walk throughoui daily, and that's a way of discovering myself too.
